About Us
Pet Play Town started with a mother and daughter, two dog loving women, who struggled to find a place that they could trust with their best friends’ health and wellbeing. After many conversations, they knew that other dog owners must feel the same. They dreamt of an oasis where they knew the dogs would have their needs met while also enjoying the time they spent there, and a place the humans knew their pets were being treated like family so they could enjoy their vacations without the extra worry. This dream turned into a reality with the birth of Pet Play Town. A place that treats your pups like family, because we are family!
Cindie has been working with animals her whole life. She has a PhD in Nutritional Physiology from Iowa State University and spent her life working to make sure the animals we love get the best nutrition possible. She now does a lot of behind the scenes work for Pet Play Town, but also loves the shifts she works on site to make sure the lives of the dogs in our care are full of enrichment and fun.
Beth graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2014 and has been working with animals through college and beyond. She wears all hats at Pet Play Town, acting as the manager, groomer, social media editor, and front desk worker extraordinaire! She is also a veterinary nurse, so you know your dog is in great hands when they stay at Pet Play Town!
Eric is Cindie’s son and Beth’s brother. He is also our fearless night supervisor who makes sure your dogs are safe throughout the night. Eric has been around dogs his whole life, hard not to be with Cindie as a mother, and loves being a part of the family business!
